The countdown is on and the anticipation is electric! As the new school year kicks off, there’s only one way to celebrate in style: the annual IGNITE Concert. On Oct. 10, we’re turning up the volume at the Universal Eventspace for a night that promises to be legendary.

Pre-show dance party: get your groove on!
The party starts before the headliners even take the stage. Starting at 7 p.m., we’re setting the scene with an epic pre-show dance party. Featuring the hype master himself, Devo D Live, alongside the unbeatable beats of DJ Lynz and the dynamic moves of the Dark Dance Company, this pre-show isn’t just a warm-up — it’s a full-on rager.
Expect high-energy vibes, killer dance-offs and a crowd that’s ready to party. It’s the perfect chance to show off your best moves and outfits and get amped for the main event.
Unmissable headliners: a lineup that slaps
Let’s talk headliners — because this year, we’re bringing the heat. Rising rap star Lil Mabu will kick off things with his fresh beats and sharp lyrics. Then, prepare to be swept away by the smooth and sultry sounds of ASTN, who’s ready to serenade with his soulful tracks.
And if that’s not enough, the night culminates with the iconic Young M.A who’s known for her powerful flow and authentic vibe, she’s set to bring the house down. Trust us, this lineup is fire — you won’t want to miss a single second.
Level up in the arcade area
Think you’ve got what it takes to dominate in the arcade? Prove it! Our arcade area is packed with everything from claw machines and Mario Kart to photobooths where you can capture the night’s memories with your squad.
Whether you’re here to win some bragging rights or just snap some epic pics, the arcade is where the fun keeps rolling all night long.
Food truck frenzy and refreshments
Dancing, gaming and partying are hard work and you’re going to need some fuel to keep going. That’s where our onsite food truck comes in.
Serving up a mouthwatering selection of bites (limited quantities available, so don’t wait!), it’s your go-to spot when hunger strikes. Wash it all down with refreshing non-alcoholic beverages that’ll keep you cool and hydrated as you keep the party going.
Light up the night with LED wristbands
The IGNITE experience isn’t just about what you see and hear — it’s about what you feel. As soon as you walk in, you’ll be handed an LED wristband that complements the beats and lights throughout the night.
Imagine the entire crowd pulsing with light, perfectly partnered with the music. It’s not just a concert — it’s a full-on sensory experience that will leave you glowing (literally).
Swag shop: win big, shine in style
As if the music, dance and games weren’t enough, we’re also throwing in some epic surprises and giveaways throughout the night. Keep your eyes peeled for chances to win big.

Here’s the deal: tickets go on sale on Sept. 18 at 12 p.m., and you’ll want to be quick. With prices set at just $15 for Humber Polytechnic and University of Guelph-Humber students and $25 for outside guests, these tickets are hotter than your pumpkin pie. Refunds are available up until 24 hours before the event date, so there’s no excuse not to grab yours ASAP.
