IGNITE Concert 2024 featuring Young M.A., ASTN, & Lil Mabu

The event will kickstart with a dance party hosted by the one and only entertainment star Devo D Live. DJ Lynz will spin the beats and the Dark Dance Company will bring the moves!
After an exciting warm-up, the electrifying Lil Mabu will kick off our main event, followed by ASTN delivering soulful tunes. The night will be headlined by none other than Young M.A, who is guaranteed to bring the house down!
Apart from the energy-packed performances, here’s what you can look forward to:
Arcade area
Step into the fun with classic arcade games like claw machines, Mario Kart and interactive photo booths. Play to your heart’s content and make some memories with friends.
Swag Shop
Score big at the Swag Shop, where lucky winners can snag hats, t-shirts, crew necks and hoodies to level up your campus wardrobe.
Food truck onsite
Satisfy your cravings with a selection of delicious food from our food truck that is available in limited quantities and complimentary with your event ticket.
LED wristband
Get immersed in the concert vibe with an LED wristband that syncs to the music, making the night even more electric!
19+ area
For guests aged 19 and older, we’ve got a designated area where you can enjoy the show in style with alcoholic beverages.

Event entry requirements
- Eventbrite ticket (printed or mobile)
- One of the following:
- Student photo ID (either your digital card on the Avro Mobile app, Residence ID or Athletics ID).
- Government-issued photo identification and Humber/UofGH class timetable.
- International students without student photo ID can present any piece of photo ID along with their class timetable.
***Anyone wishing to enter the 19+ area MUST present a government-issued photo ID (ex. Driver’s license, passport, Ontario photo card)***
Things to note
- Coat check is available.
- Humber Student Code of Conduct is in effect at this event.
- All attendees must be 16+.
- Bags/backpacks are permitted but will be subject to a security check at entry. Students may be required to leave large bags at coat check.
- A limit of one per student for all services and prizes.
- No DSLR cameras are permitted (DJI Cameras/ Osmo Included).
- No outside food or drinks are permitted.
- Water bottles must be emptied before entering the event.
- This is a cannabis-free event.
- IGNITE reserves the right to search all persons and property to ensure security at the event.
- IGNITE reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone they do not see fit to enter the event.
- Strobe lighting and other intense lighting may be used throughout the evening (lasers included). People with epilepsy or other photosensitive conditions should exercise caution if attending this event.
- Universal Event Space is a wheelchair-accessible venue. If you require any additional support or accommodations, please email us prior to the event day.
Guest policy
- Students may each bring up to one non-Humber/UofGH guests.
- Guest sign-in policy in effect. Guests must enter the event with a Humber/UofGH student.
- Each guest must present their own pre-purchased ticket and valid government photo ID.
- For security purposes, guests may be subject to having a photo of their ID taken, which will be stored for a total of 14 days following the end of the event.
- Guests are the responsibility of the Humber/UofGH student that they arrive with.
Media policy
External media, including photography, is not permitted. By entering this event, you are entering a media zone. IGNITE reserves the right to use any photos, videos or audio taken for promotional or editorial materials. If you would prefer to stay in the background, please speak to the event organizer or the photographer. We will make every effort to comply with your wishes. If you’re a media student and have questions about access or event coverage, use this online form.
Harassment policy
IGNITE is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience. We do not tolerate harassment of attendees in any form. This includes, but is not limited to, physical assault, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, stalking, unwanted physical contact or unwanted advances. Videos and photos will be taken of attendees by IGNITE. However, engaging in any photography where the subject feels they are being stalked, exploited, degraded or disrespected is strictly prohibited. Should an attendee feel that photography/videography becomes harassing in nature, they should contact IGNITE staff or security, who will take steps to resolve the situation with the proper authorities.

General event policy
Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event. Holder voluntarily agrees that the management, facility, participants and all the respective agents, officers, directors and employees are expressly released by the holder from any claims arising from such causes. Admission is subject to compliance with all laws and facility rules and the holder consents to reasonable examinations and searches to ensure compliance. Failure to comply with the law or facility rules may result in refusal of admission or expulsion. Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase, to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with these or other management rules. Breach of any of the foregoing will automatically terminate this license. The event date and time are subject to change. In the event of cancellation on the part of management, a full refund will be provided to all ticket holders.
