Indigenous Scholarship Supporting Indigenous students now and always

IGNITE Indigenous Scholarship, in partnership with Humber Indigenous Engagement & Education

In partnership with Humber’s Indigenous Education & Engagement (IE&E), IGNITE is proud to introduce the newly established annual IGNITE Indigenous Scholarship.

This scholarship is a small way that IGNITE can help support our Indigenous students who often face a unique set of barriers, such as a higher risk of financial insecurity.

Open from November 1-30, the IGNITE Indigenous Scholarship is a $1,000 grant awarded to five Indigenous students at Humber College or at the University of Guelph-Humber (UofGH) who demonstrate leadership and community involvement.

If you are a current Indigenous student at Humber College or UofGH in at least your second year of study, who is in Good Academic Standing, is in need of financial aid and demonstrates strong leadership qualities and community involvement, simply fill out the form below to apply.

Applications for the 2023 scholarship close on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Winners will be contacted by email.

For any further questions regarding the application process and the scholarship, please email Kristine Galvan, Manager, Leadership & Advocacy.
