Lyca Tabuyog, a student from the advertising and marketing communications program, has taken snacking to a whole new level, turning it into an extraordinary art form—literally. While most people see pretzels, cheese strings and gummy bears as tasty treats, Tabuyog sees potential for creativity. With an eye for detail and a talent for innovation, she transforms ordinary snacks into jaw-dropping edible masterpieces that are as delicious as they are visually stunning.

From meticulously crafted geometric shapes to intricate life-sized animals, Tabuyog’s snack sculptures are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Her creations don’t just impress, they tell a story of skill, imagination and a love for all things sweet and savoury.

Her most famous piece? A breathtaking replica of the Eiffel Tower made entirely of KitKat and M&M’s. Standing tall and shimmering in its candy-coated glory, it left her peers debating whether to admire its intricate beauty or indulge in its chocolatey goodness.

Tabuyog proves that even the simplest snacks can be elevated to a whole new level of culinary artistry. One thing’s for sure, when Tabuyog’s around, snack time is anything but ordinary!

While most people struggle to keep their succulents alive for more than a month, Yeng Magsino from the media communications program has turned her dorm room into a thriving urban jungle. Overflowing with greenery, her cozy space is home to a stunning variety of plants that look like they’ve been plucked straight out of a botanical garden. Magsino swears she can “talk” to her plants and judging by the vibrant fiddle-leaf fig flourishing in the corner of her micro-sized room, she might just be onto something.

Her ivy seems to grow with an almost unstoppable determination, spilling gracefully over its pot like a living curtain of green. Meanwhile, her once-tiny cactus has sprouted three new branches in a single week, defying all expectations.

But Magsino’s secret isn’t just sunlight and water; she treats her plants like cherished friends. She’s often spotted playing calming music to them, creating a serene ambiance that seems to make them grow faster. Sometimes, she whispers positive affirmations to her plants, nurturing them not just physically but emotionally (if that’s even possible).

For Magsino, every plant has its own unique personality. There’s the dramatic monstera that demands attention with its sprawling leaves, the shy fern that thrives best in the shadows and the cheerful pothos that seem to grow in any condition. Magsino believes it’s all about understanding and respecting their quirks, and who’s to argue with someone whose plants look this magical?
