Classes are back in session!
I’m sure by now, we’ve all gotten into a groove – whether it’s finding our classes or visiting our favourite food spots. Not to mention finding those study spots to get some work done.
But while you’re on campus, taking a break and relaxing is essential. Consider attending social events, meeting up with friends and capturing all these moments with photos you can hold on to forever. There are tons of picturesque spots, worthy of any photo background, right here on campus!
Here are some of our favourite picture-perfect spots:
Learning Commons @Lakeshore
It’s time to bring it!
Recently, Humber College launched their “Bring It” campaign. On the first floor of the Learning Commons at Lakeshore, you will see several pieces of graphic art across the walls. Motivational yet dynamic, this artwork is the perfect backdrop for any photo.
Take a picture by the Bring It sign the next time you’re on your way to the cafeteria.
F building @Lakeshore
I’m sure most of us have never been inside the F building before, especially if we don’t have any classes there. Well, now you have a reason to visit.
With graphic art added to the walls, you’re immersed into a museum of illusions, right here on campus.
Arboretum @North
The best photos are taken while exploring nature. And Humber’s Arboretum is a hidden gem, waiting to be discovered. Featuring beautiful gardens, ponds and gazebos, the Arboretum is the perfect spot for taking Instagram-worthy pics.
Take a stroll through the Garden of the Rising Moon and discover the beauty of nature. Plus you might even be able see turtles too!
But don’t wait until it’s too late, enjoy the scenery before it starts snowing!
LRC @North
Sometimes, finding the right background for a photo can be challenging. And you’re stuck looking for the right spot to pose and take amazing pics.
The Gratitude Hall mural is an interactive mural that represents the Humber community – all the donors, staff, faculty and you, the students. With brightly lit hexagons on the wall, this mural is perfect for capturing moments on campus.
Plant wall @University of Guelph Humber
With over 1,000 plants and 18 metres tall, this plant wall is definitely worth seeing. Not to mention, it’s UofGH’s natural air filter. Regardless of its benefits, this plant wall is great for snapping a photo. Plus, you can experience nature while being indoors.
Now that you’re aware of all the cool spots on campus, grab your phone and start taking some photos. Also, include your friends and create some memories while you’re still on campus. And if you’re someone who’s interested in photography, here’s everything you need to know to get the perfect shot.
