Financial support, by the numbers.
Last month, IGNITE announced it’s Emergency Financial Relief Fund (EFRF) for domestic and international students directly affected by COVID-19.
IGNITE allocated $250,000 to ease the hardships many students are facing during this difficult time.
With support from Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber, IGNITE worked tirelessly to get the program up and running in a matter of days. But the help didn’t stop there—Humber dedicated an additional $800,000 in emergency funding, bringing the total amount available to students to over $1.1M.
Between March 25 and April 3, IGNITE, through Humber, distributed $636,620 for students. Applications are still coming in.
