Dimoldenberg has had a great career where she has lived and played many roles, so we compiled a list of a few of her most epic and iconic moments to date.
The creation of the Chicken Shop Date
It all started back when Dimoldenberg was just 17 years old. The internet show that is a success today originated as a column in a magazine. Dimoldenberg’s IT professor in university told her that a magazine ran at a youth club in Royal Oak, northwest London, called The Cut, was seeking for new contributors. She and her friend Cleo went there on a Wednesday evening after school, and that changed the course of her life.
Dimoldenberg produced Chicken Shop Date as a column for the magazine for three years until she realized the concept could achieve greater success in a video format – the rest, well it’s history.
Some of the notable dates included Jack Harlow, Jennifer Lawrence, Louis Theroux, Daniel Kaluuya and many more. In a recent interview, Dimoldenberg mentioned that many records and labels now reach out to her team expressing interest in participating in the show.
Hosting the Barbie movie pink carpet
“Hey Barbie!”
Dimoldenberg hosted the pink-carpet interviews with celebrities at the London premiere of the Barbie movie in 2023. She dressed as TV News Anchor Barbie, a character released in 2010, and even brought along the Barbie doll that inspired her outfit.
She interviewed Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Dua Lipa, Will Ferrel, Emma Mackey and many other celebrities who were part of the movie.
Starting her own production company
Yes, that’s right, she’s not only a content creator, but she’s also an entrepreneur!
Dimoldenberg started her own production company in 2018, Dimz Inc. During a recent interview, she expressed interest in the potential growth that her company could have. Dimoldenberg believes that her company can add value as an agency and provide support to content creators – she thinks helping with creative direction and creating a marketing plan are some of the areas her production company can be helpful with.
Golden Globe Awards 2023 red-carpet correspondent
At last year’s Golden Globe Awards, the red carpet featured a special correspondent.
The presence of content creators on red carpets has become more common, and Amelia Dimoldenberg was no exception. Serving as the red carpet correspondent, she engaged in interviews with many celebrities.
One of the most notable moments of the ceremony was her viral interview with Andrew Garfield. Talk about chemistry!
