For three whole weeks, from March 9 to March 27, IGNITE’s Escape Mart will grace the halls at both the Humber Polytechnic’s Lakeshore and North campuses.

The mental game dictates your end game. What drives you? What will go through your mind? Other than the amazing prizes, of course.

The goal is clear. The task has been given and you are the controller of the outcome. If you’re the type of person who gets their dopamine hit from accomplishing tasks, then you’ll love escape rooms, especially ones that are right outside your classroom.

Fun is just a few steps away and you’ll be able to flex your determination, your smarty-pants ways and get the relief of leaving the room knowing you’re the reason it happened.

The only work needed is to go in trying to have a good time. Yes, people go to escape rooms to have a good time, who would’ve thought? Why just sit around with friends between classes when you can share laughs over slightly stressful puzzles?

Don’t fret, your fellow escape room enthusiasts will bail you out. You’re here for emotional support and vibes, maybe contribute through cracking some jokes and be there for the unmissable moments.

Escape rooms are all about putting in the effort to enjoy yourself and make new friends. The puzzles, investigations and eureka moments come later. You’ll learn something new about yourself and the people around you just by following your curiosity. Maybe you’ll even escape.

As long as you’re trying your best, you’ll create fond memories regardless.

This is an excuse to mess around, fiddle with anything and everything and test personal boundaries while meeting new and exciting people along the way.
