One of my strongest qualifications is leadership experience. Demonstrating the ability to manage groups and encourage cooperation, I have successfully managed various initiatives. My ability to lead and make informed decisions shows my ability to overcome obstacles and promote workplace teamwork.
Why do you believe it’s important for students to get involved with their student union?
Involvement in your student union is important because it helps you gain different skills. Students can also improve issues that affect not only them but others. Engagement with student unions helps educate students for future civic and professional duties by establishing a sense of community, networking, and enhancing personal growth.

What one qualification do you think will make you successful in the role? Why?
With extensive experience as a dynamic public speaker, I’ve effectively communicated ideas across diverse platforms in the GTA . Lately, my passion for communication has steered me towards advocacy. I firmly believe that outstanding leaders are exceptional communicators, and my oratory skills set me apart in this aspect.
Why do you believe it’s important for students to get involved with their student union?
In my opinion, being part of a student union entails embracing creativity, innovation, collaboration, diversity, equity, and inclusion, surpassing mere governance. Through active participation, I believe students can contribute their distinctive perspectives and skills to initiatives that significantly impact campus life.

Being an Ignite Board of Directors requires strong communication skills for success. This means expressing ideas clearly, listening to others, and representing the student body effectively. Good communication is crucial when talking to students, ensuring that everyone understands and considers student’s needs.
Why do you believe it’s important for students to get involved with their student union?
Getting involved with the student union is vital for students to voice concerns, build a sense of community, and develop leadership skills. It enhances their college experience, fostering personal growth and preparing them for future responsibilities.

My knack for bringing people together and working as a team will be my secret sauce for success as a board member. By making sure everyone’s voice is heard and working together, we can make smart choices that benefit the company and everyone involved.
