Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities: It’s the customer service representative’s (CSR) job to give people the information they need when they walk through IGNITE’s doors or call the office. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact to provide support for all student needs. 

Skills: Knowing everything there is to know about IGNITE’s health and dental insurance plan, events and other services goes a long way. Having the tools to communicate and problem-solve while building relationships is always useful as well. Coming to the office optimistic and ready to support every concern a student faces will get you the best results.  

Well-Being Assistant

Responsibilities: This role is an exciting combination of administrative assistance, project management, and front-line support in delivering IGNITE’s wellness services. They help in monitoring overseeing IGNITE spaces including the Zen Zone, Sleep Lounge, and Food Hub.

Skills: Show up with a passion for students’ mental and physical well-being. Support with care, be adaptable to any situation and bring in positive energy to the most relaxing places IGNITE offers. 

Videographer

Responsibilities: See all those photos and videos around campus from us? Well, that’s your job. Film, photograph and edit to your heart’s content to keep students informed about IGNITE’s events and services with stunning visuals.

Skills: Know how to tell a story with photography and film. If you have any experience with video production, editing software or technical skills with a camera or lighting, you’ll excel in this role. 

Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities: Being the social media assistant means being both creative and strategic. You’ll be working on campaigns, events and taking initiatives to engage students with fun IGNITE content on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.

Skills: Creativity and knowledge of current social media trends will make you the perfect social media assistant. Anyone curious about student culture will find themselves coming up with ideas and bringing them through the pipeline and onto people’s feeds immediately. 

Content Writer

Responsibilities: It’s time to use your love of storytelling to write for IGNITE’s website. Whether you’re writing news, events, showcasing student voices or creating quizzes like this one, the possibilities are endless. Pitch content and write. 

Skills: Similar to the social media assistant role, if you find yourself having fresh ideas on a regular basis that would make for entertaining and informative content, then this role is for you. Have a passion for writing and be willing to adapt and learn about various topics because you will inevitably write about all things student life.
