  • Insurance Coverage Opt Out Period

    Health insurance is a financial safety net that helps you, as a student, manage the cost of healthcare so that you can focus on your studies worry-free. By paying your student insurance fee each semester, you are automatically enrolled in the IGNITE Health and Dental Insurance Plan. This plan provides extended coverage for items and services including dental, vision and prescriptions, which are not covered under OHIP or your international OHIP alternative plan (Morcare).

    High school taught us many things – how to dissect a frog and the Pythagorean Theorem, but chances are, you still can’t do your taxes. Don’t worry! Our Tax Clinic student volunteers are trained and ready to help complete your tax return. Bring your paperwork and we’ll guide you through the rest. Let us teach you how to file your tax return, so that you can save money in the future.

    Sit down in-person with our volunteers to get support on filing your tax returns hassle-free. At this time, only simple tax returns can be completed at our IGNITE Tax Clinic.
