My leadership experience as a team lead at an NGO, where I guided volunteers and taught over 100 students, has strengthened my ability to lead, communicate effectively, and manage responsibilities. These skills enable me to represent students, promote collaboration, and drive positive change. | |
What’s a challenge students currently face that you feel passionate about addressing? | |
New students in Canada face challenges like cultural adjustment, language barriers, and building connections. I’m passionate about creating initiatives that provide guidance, peer support, and resources to help them adapt smoothly, feel welcomed, and succeed academically and socially in their new environment. |

In my opinion I believe that most important qualification that can make me successful in a role is adaptability. The ability to learn quickly adjust to new challenge as well as find innovative solutions is crucial. Adaptability allows me to do work effectively. | |
What’s a challenge students currently face that you feel passionate about addressing? | |
I spoke to the students, and I came to know about that a challenge that many students at Humber College face is mental health and stress management. The pressure of balancing academic demands part-time jobs and personal life can create a stressful environment for many students. |

Since the role involves overseeing event organization and ensuring that the initiatives align with the needs of the students, I possess strong leadership qualities, team management skills, and a solution-oriented vision. Given my background in technology and problem-solving, I can leverage these skills to introduce innovative solutions. | |
What’s a challenge students currently face that you feel passionate about addressing? | |
To address student stress and mental health, I would advocate for expanded counseling services, peer support networks, and stress-relief events. Additionally, increasing awareness of the college’s available resources, especially for new students, can help them navigate challenges and make the most of their college experience. |

What’s a challenge students currently face that you feel passionate about addressing? | |
“I understand the challenges students face with assignments and managing coursework. Indeed, peer tutoring is a game-changer, offering personalized support to improve learning. Additionally, issues with the Xerox machines at the Game Zone and LRC (3rd and 4th floors) hinder productivity. Addressing these will enhance the student experience and success.” |

One challenge student’s currently face is a lack of awareness and support when navigating academic, mental health, and career resources. I’m passionate about addressing this gap, ensuring that all students have easy access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed academically, personally, and professionally. |
