You made it! Welcome to a well-deserved end-of-year celebration.

Prepare yourself for this all-out paradise that’ll be the sprinkles on your sundae. Honestly—it’s the whole sundae plus more. Get ready for the IGNITE Hype Hall on Tuesday, April 5th starting at 10 a.m. to celebrate the end of the academic year! There’ll be DJ entertainment, delicious food, TikTok dancers and host @iamtresor.

This event is like the gift that keeps on giving! Gather your friends for wicked photo opps of album covers by Drake, 2Chainz, The Weekend and Sza!

Then, swing by the graffiti and wordsearch wall to unleash your inner artist and flex your brain skills. Next, test out your hand-eye coordination at the street basketball court and arcade games to win prizes!

It’s time to Treat Yo Self after all the hard work you’ve put into this year! At the selfcare and salon stations, there’ll be hairdressers/barbers, stylists, as well as facials, makeup artists and express manicures with nail art, you name it! Experience these services for free. Best of all—massages.

Yes, the hype is real and it’s all for FREE! You’ll be able to enjoy these activities, sports/games, selfcare/salon services and musical entertainment along with some drool-worthy carnival food (with vegetarian options available).

Throughout Hype Hall, there’ll be tons of giveaways for the chance to win IGNITE-branded Fitbits, hoodies and sneakers. Fit, drip, kicks.

When is it?

IGNITE Hype Hall is on Tuesday, April 5 from at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where is it?

This event will be held in-person at the Universal Event Space (6250 Highway 7, Vaughan, ON, L4H 4G3).

Event Entry Requirements:

  • Eventbrite ticket (printed or on mobile device)
  • Student card OR government-issued photo identification and Humber/UofGH class schedule/timetable
  • Event follows Humber/University of Guelph-Humber vaccination policy. Attendees must show their Humber Guardian App Covid- 19 Self Assessment and Vaccine Passport approved statuses. Masks are mandatory for entry and for the duration of the event. Hand sanitizer and limited quantity of masks are available on an as-needed basis.

Other things to note:

  • Coat check is available. Bags/backpacks are permitted but will be subject to security check at entry, with the option to place in coat check.
  • No outside food/beverages permitted.
  • Humber Student Code of Conduct is in effect at this event. IGNITE reserves the right to refuse entry.
  • A limit of one per student for all services and prize offerings
