If you’re confused or overwhelmed about how to file your tax return this upcoming tax season, we have just the solution for you!
The IGNITE Tax Clinic is a free, in-person service where eligible students can get support completing their 2025 tax return with trained volunteers. The best part? It’s happening right on campus!
Let us help you with the complicated finance questions so you can focus on your semester.
How to use the Tax Clinic
Step 1: Book an appointment
- Appointment booking opens Feb. 23, 2026.
- Students can book appointments one week in advance.
- New appointment slots are released weekly on Monday mornings.
*Walk-ins may be accepted based on availability. We suggest you book your time in advance.
Step 2: Prepare your documents.
To ensure your filing goes smoothly (who likes long wait times?), check out our document checklist.
Step 3: Attend your appointment.
Arrive on time at your selected campus location and sit back while our volunteers help you during the process.

- Timing: Monday–Thursday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Friday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
All locations are open to both Humber Polytechnic and University of Guelph-Humber students.
