Start your semester with glitter, glamour and good vibes!
IGNITE, in proud partnership with the Humber LGBTQ+ Resource Centre, is kicking off the school year with a high-energy, high-glam drag show filled with fierce performances, unapologetic self-expression and a whole lot of fun. Whether you’re a longtime fan of drag or just drag-curious, this is one back-to-school bash you do not want to miss.
This year’s show features three iconic performers ready to light up the stage and leave you stunned: Ivory Towers, Guy Anabella and Manny Dingo. Together, they’ll serve unforgettable looks, unstoppable talent and a powerful celebration of queer joy and creativity.
Ivory Towers

Guy Anabella

Brains, brawn and beauty, Guy Anabella does it all. She’s a professor of creativity, a design instructor and a powerlifter who literally lifts weights in full drag. With roots in Guyanese culture and a performance style that blends queer joy with Caribbean flair, Guy is bold, brilliant and completely unmissable. You may recognize her from Drag Brunch Saved My Life on Crave and if not, now’s your chance to see her live and in her full, fabulous power.
Manny Dingo

Toronto’s own drag king extraordinaire, Manny Dingo brings the heat, the moves and the message. With a style inspired by Prince, Lil Nas X and the Fresh Prince himself, Manny is on a mission to take up space and shake up norms. He’s a full-time performer, a Twitch producer with The House Royale and the co-founder of House of Kings. Expect gender-bending excellence, fierce fashion and a performance that challenges and celebrates all at once.
Get ready for an afternoon full of fierce performances, fun, and fabulous energy! Three incredible performers will be taking the stage on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the North Campus, IGNITE Student Centre for a high-energy show you won’t want to miss. The event kicks off at 12 p.m., so come early to grab a good spot!
No need to register in advance, just drop by and our brand ambassadors will check you in on the spot. Plus, the first 20 students in line will score an exclusive Meet & Greet with the performers after the show!
