IGNITE and Humber’s LGBTQ+ Resource Centre are teaming up once again to bring you our signature Drag Your A** to School show: bold, joyful, unapologetically queer and packed with iconic performances to warm up your winter semester.

This event celebrates queer excellence on campus and gives you a front-row seat to glamour, dance and pure electric energy of the iconic Ivory Towers, Paris Matik and Beardra Bidness.

IVORY TOWERS

Toronto’s comedy powerhouse, Ivory Towers blends razor-sharp wit, big-stage charisma, and 18+ years of drag excellence. As Miss Gay Toronto, the Crews & Tangos champion, and campaign queen for Sephora, Visa, Molson & Ikea, she has lit up stages from NYC to LA. She’s an unforgettable force who leaves audiences screaming for more.

PARIS MATIK 
 
Think Gaga’s fire, Britney’s precision, and Gisele’s elegance; then add Latina passion. That’s Paris Matik. The winner of New York City’s legendary Star Search competition, she delivers shows that are polished, captivating, and impossible to look away from. From Church-Wellesley to NYC and Vancouver, she turns every stage into a runway. You wouldn’t want to miss her high-fashion attitude with pop-star charisma.

 

BEARDRA BIDNESS

Beardra is Toronto’s Non-binary Tiny Bearded Diva. (She/Her — all pronouns welcome) As a seasoned queen, Beardra has been pushing the boundaries and celebrating her gender expression, sexuality and queerness on her own terms. Known for her on-point choreography and community love., she has performed all over Ontario and the United States. Now she’s a Church Street icon redefining what fierce self-expression means.

What to expect?
Our two-hour drag lunch experience will feature:

• Two performance sets from each queen (six in total!).
• An intermission lip-sync battle hosted by Humber’s LGBTQ+ Resource Centre.
• A 20-minute post-show Meet & Greet with the queens for the first 20 students in line.
• FREE pizza while supplies last: first-come, first-serve.
• Live hosting, dazzling costumes and campus-level slayage.

Don’t miss out! IGNITE’s Drag Your A** to School drag lunch is coming to the Lakeshore campus for the first time ever on Wednesday, Jan. 14. Join us on the second floor of the L Building, right beside the Booster Juice. You won’t want to miss the energy!

How do I register?
No pre-registration required. Just check in with our brand ambassadors upon arrival.
