Get ready to ignite your creativity at the Campus Changemakers Hackathon! It’s your chance to design an innovative advocacy project and team up with fellow students from all backgrounds to tackle the challenges that matter the most.
In partnership with Humber Polytechnic’s Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE),
IGNITE is excited to host a hackathon that focuses on creative problem-solving and design thinking. Together, we’ll ensure every student’s voice is heard loud and clear in shaping our campus experience.
At the event, you’ll have the chance to create a detailed plan that empowers you to make the following impact:
- Identify & Prioritize Issues: develop methods to pinpoint and address key student concerns.
- Engagement Strategies: create actionable policies that translate student input into meaningful initiatives.
- Focus on Inclusivity: explore strategies to enhance the accessibility of governance systems.
Let’s change the game and create a brighter future for all students on Saturday, Nov. 2, in the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation at the North Campus and Sunday, Nov. 3, in a virtual eventfor a weekendfilled with brainstorming, collaboration and fun as you build an advocacy project.

- Grand Prize: $650 per student
- 2nd Place: $400 per student
- 3rd Place: $350 per student

To qualify for cash prizes, participants must have a Canadian bank account and a SIN number.
