Online costume party
Without any big parties to go to, are you worried about missing out on a chance to channel your inner Joe Exotic, Harley Quinn or Spiderman?
Well, don’t worry because you can still show off your killer costume ideas with a virtual Halloween costume party! Connect with your friends and organize some virtual games and activities and get that party vibe going. All you need is a little extra creativity—we know you have this down packed! So, what are you waiting for? Get out your notebook and get party planning!
Jack-o’-lantern carving contest
Pumpkins are great for inspiring pumpkin spiced lattes, but they’re also tons of fun to carve. Gather everyone in your house and have a contest for who can create the scariest Jack-o’-lantern in the fastest time. You might just become a new pumpkin royal. I’m sure Jack Skellington won’t mind passing on his crown.
Make your own treats
We know pigging out on candy is one of the highlights of Halloween. But this year, instead of stocking up on bags of candy and boxes of chocolate, try making your own delicious treats!
You can make some seasonal desserts like pumpkin pie or try your hand at some classics like chocolate chip cookies. Search the web or download your favourite cooking app to get inspired!
And if those homemade snacks still haven’t filled that trick-or-treating void, then hop on Animal Crossing on Oct. 31 to trick-or-treat virtually with your fellow villagers!
