Open Position Humber Academic Representative

Position Overview

Job Title: Humber Academic Representative – Music & Fine Arts
Campus: Humber Lakeshore Campus
Number of Positions: 5 (under the Music & Fine Arts program)
Compensation $250 Honorarium
Term: Winter (March 2023 – April 2023)

 

 

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting with the Senior Dean and Associate Dean at the beginning and end of the semester
  • Write all email copy in keeping with IGNITE’s guidelines
  • Attending program meetings to discuss the student feedback you have gathered and analyzed
  • Updating students in your program about your Curriculum Committee meetings
  • Writing a transition report at the end of each semester
  • Maintaining open door communications with students
  • Attending check-in meetings with IGNITE’s Student Advocate

Responsibilities

  • Registered as a full-time or part-time humber student during both fall and winter semesters
  • Must maintain good academic standing holding 75+ average
  • Willing to meet 1-2 times a month

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student in Humber’s Music & Fine Arts program
  • Ambitious and excited to seek student feedback
  • Passionate about making positive changes to their respective program
  • Eager to learn and self-motivated
  • An individual with a long-term and strategic mindset
