Celebrate the social, cultural and political achievements of women during our International Women’s Day event. And, get the chance to join the discussion about overcoming the hurdles women face today.
On Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. EST, we’ll kick off the celebration with the welcoming remarks followed by a virtual marketplace where you can discover local women-owned businesses!
Plus, make sure to tune in at 8 p.m. EST for our Speaker Session featuring Ziwe, who will be sharing her wisdom about breaking the bias and breaking through barriers with our guest host Britta Badour.
Event schedule:
10 a.m. welcoming remarks
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. virtual marketplace opens
8 p.m. speaker session with guest Ziwe and host Britta Badour followed by a student Q&A
Pop in throughout the day! The more you interact, the greater your chances are to win some awesome prizes and—get to know your local vendors—all for free!
Every interaction at the event will earn you points towards winning $100 gift certificates to the local women-owned business vendors at the event. Attend the speaker session, chat with vendors and post on the virtual photo wall to earn more chances to win. Verified winners will be contacted via email by Friday, March 11th.
