IGNITE’s Black Excellence Showcase returns on Thursday, Oct.12.  

This year’s theme, Yours to Tell, offers a platform for members of the African American and Caribbean communities to share their experiences through music, art, hairstyles, and food. 

Experience the rhythms of live steelpan drum music, listen to spoken word performances, learn about the history of cornrows and the afro with Crown N’ Glory, and much more!

11 a.m. – Hair Care session by Crown N’ Glory and Britney the Barber 
12 p.m. – Cooking session with Hassan Adenola 
1 p.m. – Spoken word by Desiree Mckenzie
