March Street Styles

by Alena Blanes

Anyone else ready for spring?

The snow is almost gone and the days are finally getting longer. As the temperature starts to rise and sunlight lingers late into the evening, Humber and Guelph-Humber students are ditching bulky coats for spring-inspired looks. From classic denim to the years hottest trends, students are not afraid to show their style even while at school.

Check out what we caught students rocking this week on campus.

What are you most excited about wearing this spring?

“I go shopping a lot so I own quite a few dresses for different occasions. I also have tons of skirts and shorts so definitely showing off some leg. That’s my theme for the spring and summer.”

Describe your style.

“Girly, very girly. But on my lazy days, I can be sporty with lots of sweatpants.”

What were you thinking when you threw on your outfit this morning?

“Today we had a midterm so I just grabbed whatever. I have more shirts than pants and so I grabbed this long sleeve and since I knew it was cold I decided to wear overalls. My closet is pretty full.”

What trends are you loving right now?

“I’m looking into dying my hair again and rocking lots of pastel colours, specifically light pinks.”
