Fall Street Styles

by Alena Blanes

Fall fashion has arrived.

Despite a warmer September than usual, Humber and Guelph-Humber students are beginning to pack away the shorts and pull out the sweaters. As we welcome the cooler breeze, finding key transition pieces can be a struggle. We wanted to see how students were preparing for fall, so we set out to find some student style inspo around campus.

Here’s what we caught students wearing this week:

“Lululemon.”

How are you adjusting your wardrobe after the September heatwave?

“I love the fall over summer, so I’m really excited to be wearing long sleeves, pants, and sweaters again!”

Where do you take your style inspiration from?

“I’m a soccer fan so I guess some of it comes from soccer with the joggers and hoodies. Everything else is more comfort driven.”

What are your three fall essentials?

“A good jacket like a windbreaker, some joggers, and a good hat or beanie.”

If you could only shop in one place for the rest of your life where would it be?

“Adidas or American Eagle. Adidas because their shoes are super comfortable and that’s important. Everything else I’m wearing is American Eagle.”

How are you adjusting your wardrobe after the September heatwave?

“Since I come here at 5:30 in the morning I come with a sweater but I always bring a back-up t-shirt so I can take off the sweater. Right now I’m just sorta keeping it cool since it’s still quite warm out.”
