9 Students tell us one piece of advice to make your day better
by Kayzia Boilard | November 10, 2016

Between school, work, and balancing a social life, a student’s day can get stressful.

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, it’s important to take a step back and find ways to decompress. Sometimes a little advice from people in the same situation as you can go a long way. So, we asked 9 Humber and Guelph-Humber students to give us one piece of advice that will help make your day better.

“What kind of advice do you have for your fellow students?”

Charles, student

“I’d tell the person to be a self-motivator, to not rely on anyone but themselves.” Charles, Law Clerk
Precious and Janviere, students

“Do something spontaneous with your friends!” Precious, Business Accounting (left)

“Get a daily to do list and follow it!” Janviere, Electrical Engineering (right)

Areyan and Nazera, students

“Go to your classes and you’ll do well!” Areyan, Paralegal (left)

“In the morning, if you do a 10-minute exercise you’ll feel great and ready for the day.” Nazera, Paralegal (right)

Ana and Gabby, students

“Partake in the IGNITE events, like the Jenga in the hall right now. It’s fun and it will brighten your day!” Ana, Travel Service Management (left)

“If you can’t control it, don’t stress about it!” Gabby, Travel Service Management (right)
Michael and Mitchell, students

“Take petty courses online.” Michael, Fitness and Health Promotions
