Feeling lucky?

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! For a lot of us, it’s a chance to dress up and let loose with friends and family. What you may not know is that St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated across Ireland to honour the death of St. Patrick who brought Christianity to Ireland. Nowadays people all around North America celebrate in his honour. If you want to celebrate too, these events are sure to keep you happy on this famous holiday.

Grab your best friends, your all green attire and check out these cool ideas for things to do in the GTA:

1. Celebrate at Niagara Falls

Both the falls and Skylon Tower will be lit green in celebration of this Irish holiday. As an added bonus, there are tons of events happening around town and pubs to grab a bite to eat at! Check out one of the 10 best Irish pubs in North America, Doc Magilligan’s Irish pub and restaurant for authentic Irish eats and entertainment!

You could also spend the weekend at one of the many hotels near the falls and make it a weekend to remember—a much needed break away from school.

Not only will you be getting your cardio in, but your $50 registration fee will help give hope to people with disabilities. You will be running side-by-side with athletes with disabilities, greatly helping your community in this fun event.
