Position Overview

As a key member of the Services team, the CSR is responsible for ensuring that all students and visitors are promptly assisted upon entry of the IGNITE office. This role includes the execution and monitoring of services and other administrative duties.


  • Answer questions regarding IGNITE services, events, and policies
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Inform students of the IGNITE Health and Dental Insurance plan and other IGNITE services
  • Assists with the completion of insurance claim forms
  • Schedule appointments and book study rooms
  • Oversee and account for the release of student cheques through a sign-out process
  • Receive and file various forms, applications and mail
  • Provide administrative support to each department as needed
  • Count and balance till/cash box at beginning and end of shift
  • Clean, organize and stock reception area

Minimum Requirements

  • Customer service and cash handling experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office
