Celebrate International Women’s Day with IGNITE’s Real Talks event starring comedian/author/actor/podcaster/Dope Queen, Phoebe Robinson! She will be making her way to Humber/UofGH for our latest Real Talks event on Thursday, March 7th in the North Campus Student Centre.

The event will be hosted by YouTube star and activist, Jouelzy, who will be chatting with Phoebe about the importance of female empowerment and her personal experiences overcoming adversity. In addition, there will be a short Q&A at the end of the event where Phoebe will be able to answer any of the questions you may have for her!

Oh, and did we mention this is 100% free?

Need to know more about Phoebe? 

Phoebe Robinson is a multi-talented stand-up comedian,  New York Times best-selling author, and actress. She is primarily known for her two WNYC Studios podcasts: 2 Dope Queens, which she co-hosted with her bestie Jessica Williams, and Sooo Many White Guys. She is also one of the stars of Netflix’s Ibiza and you can currently catch her in the big-screen comedy What Men Want, starring Taraji P. Henson.

Phoebe is also a New York Times best-selling author of two books: You Can’t Touch My Hair & Other Things I Still Have To Explain and Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay, a collection of essays about “gender, race, dating, and the dumpster fire that is our world.”

Finally, be one of the first 50 people in line and you’ll receive a special wristband you’ll have the opportunity to meet with Phoebe and get your photo taken with her following the event!
