We’re tackling accessibility on campus and we want you to get involved.
Tuesday November 6 | 12:00pm – 1:00pm |
University of Guelph-Humber | GH101
For a person with accessibility needs, there are hurdles everywhere: in the classroom, in the physical structure of the campus buildings, online, and even in the attitudes of others. IGNITE is hosting focus groups at both the North/GH and Lakeshore campuses to learn more about changes that YOU believe should be made to reduce disability barriers and make student life easier.
Your feedback will be used to report to Humber and Guelph-Humber administration about real changes that need to happen on campus.
We encourage all students to come out and share your thoughts and ideas.
Refreshments will be served.
Register via Eventbrite at the link below. You can also register by calling us at 416.675.5051 or stopping by the office (KX202 North; K204 Lakeshore).
Please note that due to the sensitive nature of these conversations, the focus groups are not media-friendly. For media requests, please contact Monica Khosla, IGNITE President.
