We are IGNITE
IGNITE is the official student union of Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber, representing and uniting over 30,000 full-time students in one common voice. Run by students, for students, we aim to make your post-secondary experience the best it can be. From your wellness and career success to exciting social events, you can consider us your one-stop shop.

Let’s face it – the only ones who can truly understand students’ issues are students themselves. That’s why we have Student Advocates to bridge the gap between you and your student union, representing and acting as the voice of their peers to validate your concerns and make you feel heard.

Every year, our Board of Directors, led by nine students from Humber and the University of Guelph Humber, help shape IGNITE’s services around your needs. Focused solely on building a better student union, our Board facilitates communication and leads IGNITE’s strategic direction, crafting new initiatives that will bring us closer to our goals.
